Telling people that things will be okay, that someone will magically come and save them, is actually a very cruel thing to do. The world doesn’t care about you unless you become more valuable first. The only path towards the life you want is to bet on yourself, with coherent long-term efforts, calculated risks, and the belief that you are fully responsible for where you currently are. Don’t wait until you are old to realize that you are your own savior.
