I gotta say, it sucks that Goodreads has no public API. 🫤 It would be nice to be able to share on Warpcast, but without an API I can’t imagine a way. Bummer. All that data contributed by the public, locked away by Amazon. 😡

StoryGraph has some unofficial apis. IMO StoryGraph is better than Goodreads and not owned by amazon

What does “unofficial APIs” mean? And how do you find them? I read their roadmap where APIs are discussed by users as “must have” in order to leave Goodreads (they must have old api keys), and it’s labelled “long term”. One concern is cost, presumably for increased traffic.
