This is one of the main reasons animations on React Native apps just don't work that great as they do on native apps. They affect performance significantly due to all the overdrawing. Hopefully all of this improves on the new React Native Architecture.

Side is a high-performance PoS public chain with native Bitcoin lending function. It is the first PoS public chain that can support Bitcoin address format and wallet signature. The public chain itself is based on the Cosmos technology stack and adopts the dPoS consensus mechanism. Side achieves high TPS and fast transaction final confirmation. Its smart contracts run on the Wasm virtual machine, which greatly reduces the common vulnerability risks of traditional Ethereum contracts. It currently supports interoperable protocols such as IBC, Wormhole, and Axelar.

Side's usage scenarios are similar to banks. With lending as the core, it unlocks the full financial potential of Bitcoin and is also known as Bitcoin's "on-chain bank". Side's lending product is a self-hosted liquidity lending protocol. The core DLC of its infrastructure is a Bitcoin smart contract framework based on an oracle. DLC allows conditional payments to be executed based on off-chain events without the need for third-party custody of funds. DLC uses cryptographic techniques such as multi-signature transactions, hashed time lock contracts (HTLCs), Schnorr signatures, and Adaptor signatures to ensure user rights while achieving security and non-custodial nature.

Phaver and Spindl Launch Web3 Social Ads with Token Buybacks As the first of many initiatives to boost $SOCIAL demand, we are soon rolling out Web3 ads tied to token buybacks. To start, 50% of all ad revenue is used to buy $SOCIAL back from the market to equally reward all holders. This model boosts additional demand for the token and provides longevity for the reward economy, as the buyback tokens will either be burned to decrease token supply permanently when needed, or redistributed to users during periods of faster user growth to ensure the economy is balanced. We do not use any invasive tracking for the ads; they seamlessly blend into the feed and can also be opted out from with Points or $SOCIAL after the pilot.
