A tragic accident occurred in Dhaka on July 21 when a Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crashed into Milestone College in Uttara during a training flight. The jet lost control after takeoff and struck the school building, causing a massive explosion. At least 16 people died and over 100 were injured, many of them students. The government has declared a national day of mourning on July 22. This heartbreaking incident has shaken the entire nation and raised serious concerns about flight safety in populated areas.
