The fall of global business empires. Intel. Intel is on the verge of collapse - in the near future the company will either be sold to Qualcomm or stop producing processors. Full chronology of the fall of the giant: - Intel releases completely failed 13th and 14th generation Core chips; - Every second processor burns out due to a software error, the company suffers colossal losses; - The fix for the problem was released a month ago, almost 2 years (!) after the problems began; - The company's shares fell 60% to contain losses, Intel lays off almost 15 thousand employees; - The head of Intel begins to pray in despair on Twitter; - Qualcomm is going to buy the company. The global Western technology giants of the 20th century are gradually leaving the scene.

I didn’t realize this had happened at Intel. It’s not a field I usually follow, so it’s new information for me.
