Hong Kong Exchange updated its stock trading fees today, scrapping the old min HK$2 and max HK$100 limits. This change aligns with the market's smaller price movement rules. Small trades now cost way less. Before, a HK$1,000 trade had a HK$2 fee (0.2%). Now it's just 0.0042% (HK$0.042). No min/max fees help big investors plan better and cut costs on large trades.
