I’m a believer in AI. It lets ideas that used to stay stuck in my head actually make it into the world. It’s also why someone like me can build @giftr. What I’m not a believer in is using AI to outsource the hard parts. The thinking. The taste. The point of view. There’s a difference between using these tools to help build your vision and using them to skip the work of forming one. My hope for 2026 is that the most valuable thing we offer won’t be endless near perfect output (aka slop), but our unique perspectives. Work that’s more intentional and visibly human. Less polished.
