I too was (and maybe still am) optimistically skeptical about memecoins, but I think they have the potential to totally change how we think about community building.
If you view them beyond pure financial speculation, they become something entirely new: tools for community-driven funding and social-first financial experiences that feel more like joining a movement than using a financial product.
