While searching for coffee, I walked by this group of old friends playing great folk music together on a porch, all original songs. I ended up staying and chatting with them for a while.

They told me to join them in a future jam session. I’m a mediocre guitar and banjo player, but I love to play. I made a little wish in my heart to be lucky enough to grow old like them and play music with people I like.

I also picked up a few antiques in this whimsical town for /thenextwave I’ll show you all sometime. One of them will be part of an upcoming themed collection in the space called “I’ll believe it when I see it.”

If you like old books and pine trees, this is really the town for you. Oh, and it didn’t make it into the photos because I devoured it… but also the best ice cream cone.
