Wait, you’re telling me whale poop is a crucial part of the marine ecosystem?! Like we need it to support the phytoplankton that give us half our oxygen?! And they help shift nutrients to other parts of the ocean?! CRAZY! Suggest vids and post in /science everyone; this one was fun for me :P whale pumps!!

not the poo-nami 😭‼️ but this is so so interesting! had no idea how vital they were for redistributing nutrients across the different oceanic regions - which begs the question, how often do they poop?????
