ok this might be the most useful 90 seconds of DAO advice i've heard in a while so most orgs do voting right, someone proposes something, people vote yes or no, and whoever loses just... loses this guy breaks down a completely different way to do it. instead of voting yes/no, you ask "does anyone have an objection" and if the objection is real, you either fix the proposal or shrink it down so you can test it safely first nobody walks away feeling like they lost, the concern just gets built into the plan feels so obvious once you hear it but i've never seen anyone explain it this clean this was from the episode, full convo is worth a watch if you're into how DAOs and online communities actually make decisions 👇 https://youtu.be/80V5F7lbPsQ?si=hAP1H74P4Q8LBxnV the guy explaining it btw is @alexsotodigital, he's been doing governance work for years and it shows
