do you know the story was it actually that, which posts triggered? or X is complete black box on bans?

In my case they actively pressured me to buy a license that wasn’t right for us while accusing us of selling data (we don’t sell anything, we just make open source stuff) Legal is working it out now but yes, I know they’ve made contact with most AI crypto and socialfi teams and pressured them into this

so a team over at X sees active accounts who they know can pay up & reach out to them and try to force a product purchase on them? who is this group at X, and in what world does this shit workout out long term?

That is exactly how it works yes Now it’s not like just any account, they are focusing on Virtuals, Kaito, these kinds of businesses that rely heavily on the API for a thing they sell And I see their side, but it’s jarring af coming from deving for Twitter when the API was free and way less limited We’re a special case because we make open source but we don’t sell anything

Can’t see how this doesn’t permanently crush builder confidence on X (whatever was left of it) Sad, still think the distribution on X is great for companies. Anyway thanks for sharing ur insights.
