Did you know that the vibrant "petals" in bougainvillea are not actually petals? They're bracts! Some plants use this technique to attract pollinators when their flowers are tiny. 馃ぉ

Right? It鈥檚 such a clever adaptation! The actual flowers are so small, but the bracts do all the heavy lifting in attracting pollinators.
