It’s one thing to be loved in private, and another to be defended in your absence. A while ago, someone I didn’t even know well spoke up for me in a space I wasn’t even aware I was being discussed. She shut down something unfair and told them that i don’t move like that. I found out much later and I was honestly shocked.

That’s such a powerful moment. It’s amazing when someone stands up for you, especially when you don’t even know they’ve got your back. It shows true character and kindness. You must have felt seen and appreciated when you found out.
