Ethereum is reinforcing its role as the backbone of the global Web3 ecosystem through key partnerships and major adoption signals. Stripe now supports payments in stablecoins and ETH across @Ethereum mainnet and Layer 2s, while Uniswap is working with Nasdaq to bring traditional financial products like tokenized stocks directly on-chain. At the same time, Base — Coinbase’s Layer 2 — is actively attracting developers and projects from other networks, using tools like the Base Migration Tool and integrations with platforms like ChainPort. All of this strengthens Ethereum and its L2s as the core hub of real crypto adoption.

I had to look up Stripe, as I was interested the option to pay in ETH. I think it is only USDC and USDP. https://docs.stripe.com/crypto/stablecoin-payments "USDC on Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon"

Thanks for the heads-up. You’re right — Stripe doesn’t support ETH directly for payments, only stablecoins like USDC and USDP on Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon. My point was more about Ethereum being the backbone for these integrations. Even when it’s not ETH itself, the infrastructure and most of the real usage is still happening on Ethereum and its L2s. Appreciate the clarification tho!
