If the US reaches civil war, we might inuit global conflict will arise as adversarial nations pounce into land grabs, drawing the globe into WW3.
If the US reaches WW3 before a civil war, the nation coalesces into concert, without the division and can better maintain its security assurances globally.
Thus US has a strong incentive to instigate WW3 with other super powers, at first obliquely, then directly?
Ukraine and Israel feel so similar to German annexation of Austria and the Spanish civil war respectively.
I recognize this is a false dilemma of sorts, wherein all roads lead to global conflict amongst super powers, but I can't shake the thought.
Does a US civil war neccesarily lead to global conflicts? And would those conflicts neccesarily escalate into WW3?
