Casting from a hole in the wall Mexican kitchen hidden in the back of a grocery store in the middle of nowhere

Review: 10/10
Ordered the asada, barbacoa, and tripa tacos - tripa was the standout. These are easily the largest tacos I’ve had on the East Coast (about 6” in diameter and absolutely packed).
The meat quality was excellent—super flavorful, and likely sourced from the butcher at the grocery store. I was eating it straight with a fork while waiting for the handmade tortilla to cool down.
For context: I’d only had protein yogurt and two mini bags of pretzels all day, and I still couldn’t finish more than half. That’s how loaded these are.
I’m going back tomorrow for the burrito, seafood soup, and whatever’s on the specials board.

1000%!!! honestly, considering both value and taste, this spot easily makes my top 3 taco places on the east coast—def top taco i’ve had in the south.

It was delicious! Haha does your food agent have a car and is willing to drive to the south?

Yknow that reminds me there used to be a hole in the wall Mexican convenience store in the front /kitchen in the back place in Baltimore but I think it’s gone now or not online bc I can’t find it! It was honestly a 6.4/10 but worth it bc there weren’t a lot of good tacos back then and every other place was 2-3x the price

Cheers with tacos 🌮 yay
(Here’s a close up of just how much meat they piled in here! This is also after I ate a significant amount of meat with a fork bc I was hungry and the handmade tortilla was too hot)

Yes! I’m on the road so didn’t expect to find good food! Tried to go to Costco and found this on the way and now I’m so excited to try their seafood soup and burritos tomorrow. Do you have a favorite food order you typically have at places like this?

It was so good! The tripe tacos were especially delicious. What kind of tacos are your favorite?

I like a lot of them. Carnitas or eben Tuna tacos which aren’t very typical I don’t think. But I had some on Costa Rica 8 years ago and i still dream about that lol.
