It caught me off guard that brian would consider making such a bet on what seems to me (pls correct if wrong) a pre pmf user behavior given the alternative option seems much more certain looking ahead? I believe stables (genius being the catalyst) are the biggest opportunity this industry has been presented with since btc & eth. we are about to replace the rails on which money runs on. 0 to 1 type transformation. the coinbase brand + its distribution are the perfect mix to take on the opp. content coins still seem like an experiment? if they take off, integrate. but until then.. seems like bad r/r given alternatives. also advocating for social as a thing in and of itself is dod. current network effects are too strong. much higher probability of success is in building kick ass tools for a new world and letting social be downstream of that. i guess what im trying to say is: content coins are interesting but stables are a bigger and more certain bet. maybe im missing something? - im wrong and content coins are a sure bet already - the main coinbase app is the place to take on the stable boom - ???
