What are the elite schools (k-12) in SV? Where do the vc/founder types send their kids?

Ppl just buy houses in good school districts (e.g. Palo Alto, Cupertino), but sure there's Crystal Springs (SBF's school), Harker, Menlo, etc. I'm skeptical there's anything to learn from studying these schools other than the observation that peer competition may nudge students down different career paths.
