Does God care about people living in simulations or only those in the "real" world? Like if some bad guy locked me in a digital hell and my only hope was for the real world to collapse, and my digital self started praying for a heat death to set me free, would my prayers be answered, or nah?

I wonder though what is the optimal balance between a user determining what they see vs an authority figure. If I, as the end user, am opting in to viewing self-destructive content, is there a benevolent authority figure whose responsibility it should be to introduce me to "better" content?

When I read this copy, what appeals to me is the idea of being able to control the algorithm behind what I see. I think decentralization is one important ideal but also so is visibility into why you are seeing what you are seeing and sovereignty of not just your account but the algorithm that is serving you content.
