my daughter just asked me if i was sad that ozzy died.   i told her i was bc he was the first concert i ever saw.   she asked me if i met him at the show and I said no.  she asked me why i didn't just get vip tickets.   

I had to explain that vip tickets and experiences weren't a thing until the 2000s  🤯 

side note:  motley crue opening for ozzy on the shout at the devil / bark at the moon tour was definitely a baptism by fire.
