Farcaster mini-apps are helping creative community members self-empower and it’s epic to see unfold at our IRL house. Sharing the Hazel Blue $HAZE art cards! These were all 🌸 personally hand-made without AI 🌸 by @hazelblue (mom-in-law) using Procreate on the iPad! 👏🏻🥹 She’s retired and in her mid-60s, but has wanted to do something simple yet meaningful with her art when she is not being a Master Gardener, making PSA’s, and making the @chihuahuas favorite garden you see in my dog videos. 👀 Vibe Market by @n was her intro to NFTs and her first time selling digital art. We’re small rural folk here in Nebraska so online and onchain is our best way to connect while our cities are quiet still. I got her to join @farcaster with @framedl then I guided her on how she can earn extra retirement income to pay for incidentals by publishing her art through packs and getting @coinbasewallet / @coinbase to save, yield, and spend from what she can do from the comfort of both her home and even from her yard or patio with her iPad Pro. It’s an endeavor she’s aspired to realize for long time, most of the 13 years I’ve been with her daughter @hexate. 😊 Maybe these packs will give her the wiggle room to afford a retirement trip to experience Europe. She’s quite serious about visiting Ireland and Scotland with her daughter and my mom. It’s be incredible to say “and we did because of Vibe Market and her art.” I’d like to see that actually happen in this lifetime — I already lost time permanently when I lost my dad to COVID in 2022 so I feel the value of chasing dreams while we are still alive a bit personally.
