In this work, Kiyomi Suzuki extensively incorporates elements from Japanese Kabuki and traditional Bunraku, blending them with jazz. The stage design is highly expressive. In terms of narrative, the director breaks away from conventional approaches, disrupting the chronological order and narrating based on the subconscious of the characters. His techniques are reminiscent of modern literary styles such as stream-of-consciousness and symbolism, while the core lies in the Japanese aesthetics of wabi-sabi and traditional elements from the early period of Japanese culture.
