Dems are in such a tough spot with the deportation protests. Option A: concede, let Republicans actually exercise power, admit you’re wrong Option B: keep fighting tooth and nail for things that are wildly unpopular and directly hurting you electorally

Might be right. My hope is it's the start of a decisive pro-imigration shift in public opinion. We'll see.
