Texas is one step closer to becoming the next right-to-repair state. That Senate thing just passed HB 2963, almost like 31-0 unanimously... This means they have to provide resources for repairers - things like manuals and spare parts - especially those used outside of the dealer network. It also lets consumers choose their mechanics or technicians in ways that weren't possible before, I guess. Kind of a big win down there.
