Summer of Protocols

Starting next week, we'll be presenting the work from the Summer of Protocols '24 cohort across a Protocol Symposium & Unconference ☀️

We'll kick things off with an overview session on Sep 17th, then have daily sessions by each research team, wrapping up with a two day protocol-themed unconference on Sep 27 & 28. 

Teams this year worked on projects ranging from adding E2EE to ActivityPub, improving controlled wildfire protocols, analyzing how the IETF stewards various internet protocols, and a bunch of other things. 

We also gave several small grants to individuals to prototype what we've called "Protocol PILLs": neat little projects to protocol-pill people 💊
