One day a wise man gathered his disciples and showed them a plain piece of paper where he drew a small black dot. He asked them: “What do you see?” All of them answered in chorus that it was a black dot. The answer was wrong.  
 The wise man said: “Don't you see this white sheet of paper - it is so huge, bigger than this black dot!”

Однажды мудрец собрал своих учеников и показал им обычный лист бумаги, где нарисовал маленькую чёрную точку. Он спросил их: «Что вы видите?» Все хором ответили, что чёрную точку. Ответ был неверным.  
 Мудрец сказал: «А разве вы не видите этот белый лист бумаги — он так огромен, больше, чем эта чёрная точка!»
