Quora also has flaws & has been manipulated to display buzz posts to users one point, the "narcissistic pervert" theme was attracting all the attention on the platform😅
However, in terms of value redistribution, they distinguished themselves w/ their system of rewards for referencing & external views. It all depends on the curator & what defines them.
If a curator has influence & determines what is good or not solely based on the size of their wallet, I don't think that's the future.
On the other hand, if the curator themselves gets a score determined by several factors, such as the number of selected posts validated by a large audience & the total number of views obtained through natural referencing, then we will have made a big step forward.
But here, I am just offering a broad reflection on the issue. In any case, systems like Openrank have a real place of choice, & I am sure they will be part of the future of curation we just need to find what to combine it to achieve the almost perfect system. 1 reply
