I'm not sure llms make me ship more, they just up my expectations on what I can produce. Sure the volume of one off scripts and weekend tools might have gone up but when it comes to things we need to support production grade, its not happening b/c the overload on maintaining it is also higher.

for me I take on more projects because if it and if the maintenance comes in or complex features stack in these, then it becomes more of a burden then the initial joy of shipping these. but may just be me And they don't yet cover frontend well enough for my expectations, am looking forward to that day

literally hand coding my tailwind css as we speak. yeah its amazing for frontend logic but really bad on polish. its faster to just add styles myself. that being said, I've watched hundreds of devs butcher basic css so I think the excitement of vibe coding designs is really b/c they don't want to do it at all. most polished product founders across my tweets have the same sentiment.

what does your ideal workflow look like for design? what are some of the current tools you've used and what didn't you like?

I fall into this category, Vibe coding has made me ship more, but debugging and fine-tuning then becomes a pain. I was optimizing for taste on a project, only to reverse back to previous deployments as the more I fine-tuned the more changes were made to the core functionality. It really is a bitter sweet experience for me
