why do they compare it to intel based macbook pros? they really want people to upgrade that bad?

In the not too distant future Apple will drop support for Intel based Macs altogether so they want as many people as possible to upgrade by then. Even now it is not possible to develop for the Vision Pro unless you have an M-series Mac.

dang didn't know vision pro is m only. seen https://portal.app/ which supposedly is a react native app. Haven't found source code though. Would love to try React native with vision pro as target. If anyone here has links please drop them
