I largely avoided the Club World Cup. Only watched the final. It's a silly tournament and no amount of prize money will change that

I also didn't watch it when my club Liverpool won it a few years back

Nice title for bragging rights, but it is a silly tournament

same for the most part. just couldn't get into it. the biggest winner was the brazilian league imo. 

also, something people don't talk about is how this adds to an already incredible hectic schedule for the players at these elite teams. 

on the one hand it's a nice trophy, on the other hand, players having to play 80, 90 games across a season just so FIFA can pocket a few more bucks and appeal to a more global audience is worse for those players in the long term.

best to treat it how klopp treated the carabao cup. play the kids, see where you go.
