My bestie got laid off today 😔 So I did what would naturally be the next step.. hire him lol! Not even 12 hours past when he got his notice. I paid for dinner today, a bunch of dumplings and chive pancakes, plus parking for $4. He paid for nice sushi too when I got laid off, and cleaned my apartment when I was too depressed to do anything. He’s a good friend. That being said, we are just proceeding with a short trial to see if it’s a good mutual fit. But he has great experience, before this last job he did sales at Shopify. I am slightly worried this will blow up our entire friendship but we have been friends for 9 years with no issues so shouldn’t be a problem I really do believe the trick to life is, if you want to ask something big of someone, make sure they’re stuffed full of food 🤣
