Another quick run in between 'product launch' work sessions. This time it's short on purpose so that I could listen to Amy Griffin's audiobook 'The Tell' on the way back I guess I can call it a weekend when I let myself take my mind off work for a bit 😌

What you really need to do is to allow time to flow naturally...Some useful coping mechanisms are: - filling your days with beautiful memories...and I emphasize beautiful (find the perfect lighting, put extra effort in choosing a gift for a loved one, garnish your meals...etc) - Don't fall for the shaming part of it...Phrases like 'ok, boomer' and 'millennial (derogatory)' are on the shaming spectrum. It says a lot about how the shaming type of people feel about themselves. Whatever they do, they find reasons to feel mortified. e.g. they make a dating app (ew you're attracted to sensuality...shame). Don't approach the years with a feeling of disgust - that's such a waste of time - Look at how some people age (and go through all life phases) gracefully, it's a lot more about their demeanor than looks. e.g. I find Meryl Streep really charismatic in her roles. Learn how to be evergreen 🌿 - Also take care of your body, mind and soul

I'm a bit older than 30 y/o but 27-30 years were the oldest I've ever felt. Because you've a bird-eye view of all the things you could experience, and somehow are compelled to replay past phases and ache for the unfulfilled parts. Time is burdened because there's a burning desire coupled with unbounded energy to compress all that could've happened and all that could be in the next 24 months before you turn 30...
