I agree with the point you're making. It makes more sense for apps to be built first, putting strain on existing infrastructure, and then upgrading the infrastructure to meet the demand. This way, the infrastructure is being built out of real demand and with a real understanding of what end users need. It's a more efficient and relevant approach compared to building infrastructure based on assumptions of future demand. The example of AWS being built by Amazon to meet their own capacity needs is a great illustration of this concept. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.
