Using a Windows laptop for work and a MacBook Pro at home, I am continually amazed by the energy efficiency and power of Apple Silicon in comparison.
The battery on my MacBook Pro hardly drains. I don’t really need to charge it; I usually just do so overnight out of routine and could probably skip a night without issue.
Additionally, the MacBook Pro operates much more quietly and remains cool, even under heavy workloads.
When Apple transitioned from PowerPC to Intel Macs, I was a supporter, but I was skeptical about them making their own chips five years ago—and I must say, I was completely mistaken.
This has been the best strategic move of the past decade.
