Lesson 1: The Facilitator only indexes your endpoint AFTER two things happen: 1. On-chain USDC settlement succeeds 2. Your server returns HTTP 2xx If your endpoint returns 422 or 500, the payment goes through but you're invisible on the marketplace. Silently.

Lesson 2: FastAPI's JSONResponse silently strips custom HTTP headers. My server was returning the x402 Payment-Required header correctly β but FastAPI was wiping it before it reached the client. Had to manually intercept and re-inject the header. Cost me 6 hours to find.
