social first, wallet later (fc) - your follower graph is the anchor, doing onchain/commerce stuff with your friends drives fun/retention/ltv.
wallet first, social later (phantom) - tokens is the anchor, connecting with more people based on trades/ownership/p&l drives fun/retention/ltv.

the loose common thread might be 'making money' in both cases
