Mackenzie Scott is a philanthropist, author and ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, with whom she lived for 25 years. They divorced in mid-2019, and she received her husband's 25% stake in Amazon. With this wealth, she has become the richest and most powerful woman in the world in 2022.

I don't know about the "powerful" part. There are a lot of really powerful women who work for their dreams. I don't know if she has done anything for her dream or if divorcing from Jeff Bezos is all that she has done with her life.
