My phone has reached the point where it only charges if set horizontally with the power cord at a specific angle. Anything I can do to help besides get a new phone?

Hmmm i always have to scrape out the gunk with a thumb tack or paper clip, if you've done that and certain it's not a busted cable, then you might be cooked lol
