Extremely cringe to gatekeep ethnic identities when their own poor governance drove generations to flee across the Atlantic and their continued low birth rate makes them dependent on immigration that changes the ethnic makeup of their ethnically based nation states to compensate for the population problems. Italy limiting Italian Americans’ right to immigrate is a great example of this.
