People love saying AI is "objective" or "neutral." But it’s not. AI is a reflection of the data it’s trained on.
Train it on biased hiring data? It’ll make biased hiring decisions.
Train it on old medical research? It’ll suggest outdated treatments.
Train it on Twitter discourse? God help us all.
Garbage in, garbage out.
The real danger isn’t that AI will be evil—it’s that it will amplify the worst parts of human decision-making, but at scale and with confidence.
