I am 33 years old and have no girlfriends. My childhood was spent in a circle of female friends, school time gradually reduced this circle, leaving only trusted friends and adding new classmates. And college arranged everything definitively: there were no more former friends, but there was a new friend, a classmate, with whom we closely communicated for four academic years. It seemed then, this connection will remain forever. However, after graduation our lives took different paths: I had a spouse and a child, and my close friend was going through a relationship breakup and began to actively immerse herself in the nightlife. Communication between us quickly came to a halt....

I've been in a relationship for 1.5 years. Initially warned the guy that I need to trust and tell everything. If he hides it, he'll make it worse. I thought we trusted each other. After a couple months it turned out that every time he wrote that he went to bed, in fact went out with friends. When he said he was out with a friend it was his best friend, but he always kept quiet about her for some reason. Also within a month of me finding out about it we broke up on his initiative because he was burned out. We eventually got over it and continued the relationship. Then I find out that on the day of the breakup when he texted that he went to a friend's house, he was at his best friend's house for a couple hours. I asked a bunch of questions about why he was doing that. The guy always replied that he was stupid and didn't mean to hurt me. I always forgave and tried to believe him. The whole situation took a huge hit to my self-esteem. Why didn't he tell me about his girlfriend?
