it looks like heavily weighting new follows may result in questionable outcomes in some cases (based on my subjective judgment) updated the algo to weight new follows less, as we think about ways to fairly evaluate users with smaller followings, particularly new users as well as handle paid engagement tools like surge the account mentioned here is still ranked in the top 100
