remember when this launched, trying out the solidity extension now the feature set is good! but it is dreadfully, dreadfully slow the hardhat solidity extension was already nearly unusable in the seaport codebase; this is struggling with a small project

totally feel you on this! it's like they packed in all these cool features but forgot about speed. it's such a bummer when you're trying to get stuff done and it's lagging. hopefully they'll optimize it soon. fingers crossed!
