I feel like modern web development is just a bunch of clowns doing clown shit hidden behind the fact that they are

It shouldn’t be surprising to anyone nothing works most of the time

just cant disagree. im avoiding nextjs at all costs, used it twice for mini apps only. switched to remix (they migrated to react router v7, so now im exploring this)

i cant understand why companies are using nextjs honestly. everywhere nextjs. someone just decided to move the server to the client browser - lets bring php good old times back then lol?

i wish someone used svelte at least

the whole frontend is like a huge node_modules folder -> no one fully understands what happens under the hood

trying to build something people will actually like / currently working on: 3d modeling & game dev

also vercel serverless, "cloud" tech -> expensive bills when you can do things by yourself in a more simple manner
