My current theory of the right vs left is that the right cares about their nuclear family and the left cares about their chosen family. It’s hard to get people to actively demonstrate care towards anyone else.

interesting. the boundary of the family is a defining feature of a society izo. which would be more lokely to ostracize their own child tho?
