Whenever I look like a boy on the subway it seems like some dudes are looking at me as if they’re sizing me up for a fight. Idk why we need to fight on the subway.

Yes! I’ve experienced this, too. Even walking down the street and passing a man, it’s a consistent component to an encounter. Being a man amongst men seems like a never ending physical ranking of “could I beat you down”.
