Saw Superman! I enjoyed Tim Gunn’s take on the DC universe: it’s ridiculous, so is our world, let’s laugh at it and use it to think about very human problems. Also I’m a sucker for “being a good person is punk rock” and “putting people into concentration camps is bad” themes. Only Lex Luthor being one dimensional and the distracting nature of Alamo Drafthouse’s continuous implosion detracted from the experience. I would love to see Tim Gunn redo Watchmen.

We’re lucky that we still have a nice indie theater near us but it doesn’t have huge screens for blockbusters
