OpenAI denied authorizing Robinhood or issuing any "OpenAI tokens." Robinhood clarified the tokens offer indirect exposure to OpenAI via an SPV, not direct ownership. The tokens' value ties to the SPV's OpenAI shares. Robinhood, Bybit, and Kraken don't offer tokenized U.S. stocks to Americans yet. Coinbase applied to the SEC for approval to launch this service. Waiting for SEC's decision.
