One thing I miss about Poland is seeing and interacting with young married couples in their 20s. Everywhere you go you see them: museum, coffeeshop, parks, supermarket. 

Young people being married and having children. That’s a beautiful form of optimism and community.

So much of the reason this is an issue in the US is cost of living and general popular aspirations, career is the focus of many because it is often a prereq to access so much of the bounty the country has. It sad direction I think and this difference is major casuality that directly results from it 😔

After living here for some time I sense it very deeply :(
